HEB Central Market has way more foods than the regular HEB. They have foods from around the world and speciality foods also. The produce section is wonderful, with so many fruits and vegetables all the best quality. Many items I have never see before. They have a sandwich shop, soup bar, olive bar and a section where you can buy foods prepared to take home and heat up to eat. The meat and sea food sections have the freshest sections. The bakery still makes their items in house. The flower section is beautiful. I was so busy buying stuff I forgot to take photos. This is definitely a place to stop.

Very clean and organized place. Came here since I was in area and heard of their dollar rose days, was not disappointed. They had a lovely assortment of rose colors to choose from and all were fresh and look great. The store is kind of structured like a maze and has a few “shortcuts” to be able to move more quickly through the store, but overall very structured. They have an in house cafe/cafeteria/bakery set up as well, and everything looked fresh and the bakery section smelled amazing. Tried their “cozy cup latte” and their “pumpkin patch chai” from their cafe. Baristas were sweet and helped pick out the drinks, service was quick, and drinks tasted great and were made with high quality. Overall, was really pleased with the quality of products offered here, the customer service is superior, and workers are very helpful and sweet. Great first experience, will definitely be visiting more often.

The line was long so you know it has to be good. I ordered from their sandwich deli line, and got the California Connection, on 3-seed bread, add red onions and fresh jalapenos. The sandwich was filling and definitely worth the 10.00.

This might be the top grocery store in Houston. While not perfect it's better than the whole food flagship stores. It has just about everything you can ask for from a grocery store. Some items are a bit marked up but you are paying for the quality of service and experience. The backery here is definitely better than any other general grocery store and will run it through the slicer for ya.

If you have the opportunity to come across this grocery store Cental Market it’s breath taking. The aesthetic mainly it’s amazing! The sampling every worker offers you throughout the store is welcoming to try new things. It’s a must shopped location.

Shop here for food, be careful, its spency. Worth it. But the sandwhiches are BOOM. Get a sandwhich, some salad, drink and patio is the spot. Do it and you are at the cool kids table. Don't do it and be aline un the cold.

Very interesting grocery store with a huge variety of products. The produce section is colorful, fresh, and beautifully displayed. I like how they carry unique and specialty items you don’t usually find in regular supermarkets. The store layout is spacious and easy to explore. Great place if you enjoy discovering new foods and high-quality ingredients.

I love central market. This place is like Disney land for those who love to cook. All their produce is fresh. You find seasonal items that you can’t find anywhere else, ingredients from around the world. Meats and seafood that are fresh. Erewhon in LA can’t compete with HEB central market. This IS the premier grocery store. Also, their sandwiches and food from their “chef prepared “ section is amazing. Best over all is their lemon pepper rotisserie chicken.

Some days the city tells you exactly where you need to be. Today was one of those days. It was a beautiful Houston afternoon, and I found myself on the west side of the city craving nothing more than a good cup of coffee, a quiet place to read, write, and work through a few marketing emails. Somehow that journey led me to the coffee bar inside Central Market, and I’m so glad it did. There is something special about this place. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by the rhythm of Houston. Families shopping together, neighbors catching up, people grabbing lunch, and everyone moving with purpose. Sitting at the coffee bar allowed me to experience all of it while still finding a peaceful corner to settle into my work. It was the perfect balance between community and solitude. I have to give a heartfelt shout out to the incredible baristas who made my visit unforgettable. Evelyn, Jess, Miguel, and Sherwin welcomed me with genuine smiles and the kind of hospitality that cannot be taught. They made me feel less like a customer and more like a familiar face. Their energy was warm, joyful, and authentic, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy serving people. I ordered a double shot espresso made with KATZ Coffee, one of Houston’s finest coffee roasters, and it was exactly what I needed. Rich, smooth, and full of flavor. While I enjoyed my coffee, I had the pleasure of watching the team prepare drinks for everyone who came through the line. From handcrafted coffees to fresh smoothies, every order was made with care, precision, and a smile. It was a beautiful reminder that excellence often lives in the smallest everyday moments. To Evelyn, Jess, Miguel, and Sherwin, thank you for filling my cup today, literally and figuratively. I hope this review pours a little encouragement back into yours.
